Características y requisitos de las becas:
- Áreas de investigación: Tecnología semántica, Inteligencia Artificial, Bioinformática.
- No haber residido o realizado su actividad principal -trabajo, estudios, etc.- en España durante más de 6 meses en los últimos 3 años
- Periodo de disfrute de la beca máximo de 2 años renovables anualmente.
- Una retribución bruta equivalente a un contrato PEOPLE o CURIE de la Unión Europea.

We are pleased to announce the symposium “Gene Expression and RNA Processing” (ICGEB-ANPCYT-CONICET), to be held in Iguazú Falls, Misiones, Argentina, from 27 September to 1 October 2011.
This meeting will include plenary talks by invited speakers and poster presentations by participants selected from applications. Among the accepted participants, at least 25 post-docs or graduate students will be selected to receive full board accommodation at the symposium venue (Hotel Sheraton Iguazú) and free registration. Travel will not be financed.

8th HKU-Pasteur Virology Course

The 8th HKU-PASTEUR VIROLOGY COURSE will focus on ARBOVIRUSES, a term that is used to describe viruses from various families that are transmitted via arthropod vectors (mosquitoes, sand-flies, fleas, ticks, lice, etc).
Arboviruses comprise a large group (more than 400) of enveloped RNA viruses, such as Dengue virus, Japanese Encephalitis virus, tick-borne encephalitis virus, West Nile virus and Crimea Congo Hemorrhagic Fever virus, which are becoming increasingly widespread. In particular, dengue is the fastest emerging arboviral infection with an estimated 2.5 billion people at risk globally, of which more than 70% reside in Asia. Its epidemiology is rapidly evolving, with increased frequency of outbreaks and expansion to new geographical areas that were previously unaffected.

Beca de Inglés CORFO

Podrán postular personas que posean estudios formales en carreras asociadas a la Industria de Servicios Globales, los cuales deberán contar con aproximadamente 15 horas semanales para dedicar al programa, durante 4 meses.
Esta Beca cubre el 75% del costo de un curso intensivo de inglés de 200 horas cronológicas, además de textos, podcasts y/u otras herramientas requeridas para cumplir con los objetivos del curso.
Incluye la evaluación del progreso conseguido a través de la aplicación de un examen de inglés al ingreso y al egreso del curso, recibiendo, en ambos casos, una certificación de carácter internacional con el nivel alcanzado.
La Beca exige un mínimo de un 80% de asistencia.

L’Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) annonce le recrutement de la 13ème promotion de l’Institut de la francophonie pour la médecine tropicale (IFMT) au Laos.
Le Master en médecine tropicale et santé internationale s’inscrit dans un cursus de formation pré-doctorale. Il est reconnu par les universités du Laos, du Cambodge, du Vietnam, de Madagascar ainsi que par l’Université médicale de Kunming en Chine et par plusieurs universités françaises. BRITISH CHEVENING SCHOLARSHIPS SCHEME

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) of the United Kingdom is offering two or three postgraduate scholarships under the Chevening scheme to undertake study on courses of up to one year’s duration during the 2011-2012 academic year at any British university, starting in September/October 2011. These scholarships will be of particular interest to professional people in Chile who wish to develop their knowledge and qualifications in their own specialist area.
This year the British Embassy is looking for high quality applications related to the following fields of post-graduate study:
• Sustainable Energy Policy
• Climate Change/Green Growth
• Financial Services
We will not this year be able to consider applications in other academic areas apart from these three.
