PhD in the field of plant evolution and development

Looking for a PhD candidate in the field of plant evolution and development to assist in carrying out a funded project on the evolution of MADS-domain transcription factors. A four year scholarship will be offered to a highly motivated candidate. Skills that would help to carry out the project are phylogenetic analysis and experience with methods to investigate protein-protein interaction. Would you be so kind to present this opportunity to smart and interested students that wish to pursue a PhD and feel like living in Belgium for a few years? Post-doctoral position available at the FONDAP Center for Genome Regulation.

A full-time postdoctoral position is currently available in the Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile to work at the recently created FONDAP Center for Genome Regulation in the Main Campus of P. Universidad Católica de Chile, downtown Santiago – Chile.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our interdisciplinary Plant Systems Biology research group. The successful candidate will join a collaborative research program to understand regulatory networks involved in N nutrient responses in Arabidopsis thaliana. The research activity will be carried out in collaboration with computer scientists, mathematicians and experimental biologists.

Identificación de subgrupos de mujeres obesas con diferente riesgo potencial para desarrollar carcinoma endometrial
El proyecto de investigación se encuentra financiado por un FONDECYT Regular (Marzo 2011-Marzo 2014).
Las técnicas de laboratorio a emplear incluyen:
RT-PCR, Real- time PCR, inmunohistoquímica, Western blot, Cultivo celular.

The International Field Epidemiology Training Program – Thailand would like to remind you for the deadline of the training course as below.
The Field Epidemiology Training Program-Thailand (FETP-Thailand) was established in 1980 with a collaborative effort of the Thai Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), the World Health Organization and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It is the first field-based epidemiology training outside the America Continent which was modeled after the Epidemic Intelligence Service in the USA. The term “FETP” has been recognized as the applied epidemiology training that directly linked to public health services.

Doctoral Grants, Institut Pasteur International Network PhD Program

The Institut Pasteur calls in 2011 to candidature for doctoral grants of the PhD Program within the Institut Pasteur International Network.
For this second edition in 2011, the Institut Pasteur will finance two doctoral fellowships for a duration of three years to allow students to realize their doctoral training in an institute of the Institut Pasteur International Network (RIIP) except metropolitan France. This fellowship aims at promoting and facilitating the realization of doctorate trainings of French and foreign researchers in a laboratory of the RIIP. This may apply to standard or jointly-supervised theses. Fellowship areas may include all themes developed in the laboratories of the RIIP: research on the infectious diseases (infectious physiopathology, immunology, microbiology, epidemiology, virology, parasitology) and health service activities (surveillance, resistance).

Contratación de Académicos con Grado de Doctor PUC

El Departamento de Biología Celular y Molecular centra su investigación en el estudio de las Bases Celulares y Moleculares de las Enfermedades, en busca de la generación de nuevas aplicaciones terapéuticas.
